Junior School Swimming Gala 2008

Our main team sports are Rugby/Cricket for boys, and Netball/Rounders for girls. We maintain a busy fixture list playing teams from both independent schools and local state schools. Each year we also host both a Rugby and a Netball festival for local schools and clubs.

There is also the opportunity to represent both house and school in athletics at various events. We send teams from both Senior and Junior Schools to the Independent Schools Athletics Championships, usually managing to pick up a few titles each year.

Other sports are played in after school clubs and include soccer, hockey, tennis, badminton, and martial arts, amongst others.

We have many pupils who have represented the county in a variety of sports, along with an albeit smaller number who have gone on to represent England/UK in Rugby, Badminton, Trampolining, Kayaking and even American Football.
