Examination Results

2012 016A Level – 2012 Results

51% of A Level pupils achieved A* or A grades.

Over 80% of A Level results were A*-B grade.

A third of all pupils achieved 3 ‘A’ grades.

Over 40% of A Level pupils went on to study at one of the Top Ten World Universities.

These are exceptional results for a Sixth Form that is not particularly selective. Indeed, we manage to get the very best out of our pupils, particularly from those coming from other schools to join our Sixth Form who have yet to experience how effective small class sizes and dedicated teachers can be. In today’s very competitive climate for University places, achieving AAB rather than BBB, or BCC rather than CCD can make all to difference!

GCSE Results

We constantly achieve excellent examination results every year, however we usually aggregate our results over the previous three years to give a statistically valid picture.

Over the last three years, we have achieved A*-A grades in 38% of GCSE examinations, with 65% of grades being A*-B.

The majority of our year 11 pupils stay on at Pitsford School to study A-Levels.
