Class sizes

 

Y9 Art class

Class sizes are kept small so that we can cater for individual needs within the traditional classroom setting. The average class sizes for 2009/10 are listed below.

Our aim is to ensure that no class in the Junior School rises above 21, and that no class in the Senior School rises above 24 . Having said that, actual class sizes are generally smaller than this, particularly when pupils start to choose options for GCSE and A level.

The Junior School – 14.4

The Senior School – 14.3

The Sixth Form – 5.3
