Meet the Head

Having taught previously at both Reading School and Oundle School, I welcomed the opportunity to return to my home town to be a part of this exciting and challenging endeavour. Pitsford School is now recognised as being one of the region’s most academically successful co-educational day schools.

But examinations are not everything. At Pitsford School, we are constantly treading that fine line between supporting pupils in order to help them achieve their educational potential and developing their independence and self discipline. Qualities much more important to them in later life than paper qualifications.

As you will see as you peruse this website, we offer far more than just small class sizes and excellent teaching. For example, every term we have over 60 after school clubs and activities in the Senior School alone. We are a very friendly school, small enough for all of us to get to know each other, but big enough to offer a wealth of opportunities to all pupils.
